Sanitary and Quarantine Control Strengthened at 'Upper Lars' Checkpoint
Sanitary and quarantine control has been strengthened at the 'Upper Lars' checkpoint located on the border between North Ossetia and Georgia. The measures have been implemented due to the spread of swine flu in Georgia.
The Consumer Protection Department of North Ossetia is taking steps to minimize the risk of Russian citizens contracting the H1N1 flu virus, stated the head of the epidemiological control department.
No cases of swine flu have been registered in North Ossetia yet, but citizens have been advised to take preventive measures, warned the specialist.
