You Need to Pay a State Fee for Keeping Pets
According to the 6th point of part 1 of Article 12 of the Law on Local Self-Government in Yerevan and Articles 9, 11, and 12 of the Law on Local Taxes and Fees, the Yerevan City Council adopted a decision on December 25, 2018, regarding the rates for local fees in the Yerevan community for 2019, as reported by iravaban.net.
The 12th point of the decision stipulates that the local tax for keeping pets in the administrative territory of Yerevan, as determined by the council's decision, is set at 5000 drams (five thousand) for each pet per calendar year.
