Car Accident in Goris: Injuries Reported

On January 10, at 09:22, the emergency hotline received a call reporting that an accident occurred at the beginning of Maxim Street in the city of Goris, Syunik Province, and that assistance from rescuers was needed.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that a firefighting and rescue unit has been dispatched to the scene. It was determined that a collision occurred between a Volkswagen Jetta (driver: J. D.) and a VAZ-2107 (driver: N. M.).

Before rescuers arrived at the scene, the drivers of the vehicles had been transported to the Goris Medical Center by citizens, where doctors assessed the victims' health condition as satisfactory.

The rescuers disconnected the power from the vehicles and closed the valves on the gas cylinders.
