The Foreign Ministry Leadership Visits the Armenia-Turkey Border at the 'Akhurik' Checkpoint

Within the framework of the annual working meeting, the leadership of the Foreign Ministry and heads of diplomatic services abroad, led by Minister Mirzoyan, visited the 'Akhurik' checkpoint on the Armenia-Turkey border and the 'Akhuryan' railway station of the Gyumri-Kars railway. This was reported by the Foreign Ministry.

During the visit, the importance of the railway’s restoration and operation was discussed, along with the progress of related works.

It is worth noting that earlier it had been reported that within the framework of the annual working meeting, the leadership of the Foreign Ministry and heads of diplomatic services abroad, led by Minister Mirzoyan, visited the 'Margara' checkpoint on the Armenia-Turkey border.

During the tour, the Chairman of the State Revenue Committee, Eduard Hakobyan, presented the work carried out regarding the renovation and re-equipping of the checkpoint, emphasizing its readiness for operation.
