Hayastan Alliance Candidate Ruslan Barseghyan to Stay in Custody for Another 2 Months
The custody period of Ruslan Barseghyan, a candidate for the National Assembly from the Hayastan Alliance, has been extended by 2 months, according to a judicial source from Pastinfo.
On June 17, the Electoral Commission approved the prosecutor's request to subject Ruslan Rafiki Barseghyan to criminal prosecution and deprive him of liberty. The measure taken against him was detention.
According to the Investigative Committee, the charges against him relate to giving electoral bribes as part of a group.
