We Have Succeeded in Blocking Southern Russia: Zelensky

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced that due to political, financial, and technological decisions, the country has achieved a significantly advanced defense. Since last autumn, the political and financial decisions made, along with technological choices made a year ago, have enabled Ukraine to implement a considerably more advanced technological defense this winter and spring, Zelensky reported.

He stated that a long-term sanctions program is being implemented, and medium-range strikes are increasing. The Ukrainian president noted that they have effectively managed to block southern Russia, and this strategic operation is expanding in response to Russian attacks on Ukrainian ports and cities.

Zelensky emphasized that pressure on Russia should lead the country and its society to a desire to end the war. He added that sanctions against Russian oil refineries and other oil facilities, medium-range strikes on military logistics, and actions in the Black and Azov Seas reduce Russia's military capabilities, which is crucial for continuing political and legal measures.

He also informed that a package of Ukrainian sanctions has been established against those companies and ships transporting stolen grain and other goods from Ukraine's occupied territories, as well as that new restrictions are being prepared against Russia's military industry, financial chains, and intermediaries.
