Fire Breaks Out in Apartment in Yerevan, Two Citizens Rescued by Firefighters
On August 12, at 06:27, a report was received by the operational management center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations indicating that a fire had broken out in one of the buildings on Vilnius Street in Yerevan. This was announced by the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia.
Two fire and rescue units and one aerial ladder from the Yerevan Rescue Department were dispatched to the scene. It was determined that the fire had started in an apartment on the 7th floor.
The fire was contained by 07:14 and extinguished by 07:44. The bedroom and hallways were damaged by the fire.
Firefighters rescued two citizens from the apartment.
