Casualties Reported After Nighttime Massive Strikes in Russia-Ukraine Conflict
Mutual massive strikes occurred overnight between Russia and Ukraine. As a result of the attacks, residential buildings and civilian infrastructure were damaged on both sides, leading to casualties and injuries.
The Ukrainian armed forces reportedly attacked the Krasnodar region of Russia with several hundred drones, according to local authorities. Among the casualties, an 8-year-old child was killed in Novorossiysk, and eight others were injured, including one child. Another man died from his injuries in the Temryuk region.
Debris from the drones fell on 21 residential homes and 4 enterprises. Homes in Anapa and Gelendzhik were also damaged.
Simultaneously, Russia launched strikes on four Ukrainian regions: Zaporizhia, Poltava, Odesa, and Dnipro. A fire erupted at the 'Epicenter' shopping center in Zaporizhia following the attack, leaving approximately 1,200 families without electricity. In Poltava, an industrial facility was set ablaze, while Odesa saw damage to infrastructure and a residential building. In the Dnipro region, Russian forces carried out around 20 strikes across four districts using drones and missiles, resulting in injuries to a 57-year-old man and damage to a hospital, a cultural and sports complex, shops, and residential buildings.
