120 Countries, Armenia in the Top Five: Students' Success at the AI Olympiad

Armenian students have secured 5th place among 120 countries in the International Artificial Intelligence Olympiad. This was announced by the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of the Republic of Armenia, Zhanna Andreasyan, on her Facebook page.

This year, the Armenian team members also won two bronze medals. Only New Zealand, Hong Kong, Puerto Rico, and Spain ranked higher than Armenia in the team standings.

The minister noted, “Our team members represent public schools from Yerevan, Gyumri, and Vanadzor, selected from 170 students during the national selection phase.”

The Armenian student team has emerged among the top five in this international competition, competing against representatives from 120 countries worldwide.
