Ukraine, Romania, and Several Countries to Unite Around a Single Idea: Zelensky

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that the country has begun to develop the "Carpathian Initiative," aimed at strengthening cooperation in the region. According to Zelensky, the idea for the initiative arose because not all countries are prepared to support Ukraine with weapons, but still wish to collaborate in humanitarian, security, and economic areas.

"When neighboring countries think about the restoration of Ukraine, it is also a manifestation of faith - faith that everything will be peaceful," he stated.

Zelensky emphasized that the "Carpathian Initiative" brings together countries that are connected not only by geographical location but also by common economic and security interests. He noted that Ukraine, Romania, Austria, Serbia, Hungary, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia could participate in the initiative.

Zelensky announced that the implementation of the initiative is planned for the autumn. He mentioned that discussions are underway regarding programs related to financing, tourism, economy, and security.
