On August 2, at 1:44 PM, the Gegharkunik Regional Operational Management Center received information that a citizen had drowned at one of the private beaches of Lake Sevan; rescuers' assistance was required.
A combat team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' regional rescue department was dispatched to the scene.
The rescuers retrieved the citizen's body from approximately 10 meters offshore and about 1.8 meters deep.
