Meeting Held in Bishkek Between Alen Simonian and Hikmet Hajiyev

On September 1, in Bishkek, a meeting took place between Alen Simonian, the Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Armenia, and Hikmet Hajiyev, the Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

According to the office of the Secretary of the Security Council, following the meeting between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, the Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia and the Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan continued discussions on the peace agenda.

The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit has kicked off in Bishkek. Leaders of the member states first participated in an official photo session, followed by a closed session.

It should be noted that this year marks the 25th anniversary of the organization, making this meeting a key event at a high level within the framework of the presidency of Kyrgyzstan.
