Asryan Discusses Armenian Army Reforms with Indian Delegation
On August 31, the First Deputy Minister of Defense of Armenia, Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Edward Asryan, received a delegation led by the Commander of the National Defense College of India, Manish Kumar Gupta. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.
During the meeting, Edward Asryan presented the defense reforms being implemented in Armenia, as well as the ongoing transformation process of the Armed Forces within these reforms.
At the end of the meeting, the Chief of the General Staff answered questions from the Indian delegation members. Additionally, they discussed matters related to cooperation between Armenia and India in the field of military education, particularly concerning the education of senior officers, with Defense Minister Suren Papikyan.
