Threats Will Be Created for Russia's Security: Galuzin
The Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Galuzin, has stated that the West is continuing to take active measures to serve its own interests in Central Asia.
According to the diplomat, one of the key objectives of this policy is to transform the region into a place from which threats to Russia's security can be generated.
Galuzin emphasized that Western countries aim to control the region's transportation routes and natural resources. He asserted that such actions are directed towards altering the economic and political systems of Central Asian countries to align them with Western priorities.
A representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry added that these international forces view the region as a strategic platform to influence the security environment of the Russian Federation. In this context, the Russian side places great importance on preventing external interventions and ensuring regional stability, which could damage the established geopolitical balance.
