What Iran Promised Azerbaijan: Bayramov Elaborates

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, announced that Iran has promised to investigate the incident involving a drone in the Nakhchivan direction.

Bayramov indicated that the Azerbaijani side responded immediately to the incident by establishing numerous communications with Iran. “The President of Iran called the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev. I have also had several phone conversations with the Iranian Foreign Minister. The Iranian side insists that the missiles and drones were not launched from Iranian territory. Their position is that this was a provocation by third countries. Several military connections have also been established on this issue,” the minister stated.
