The South Caucasus is Becoming a Center of Peace, Aliyev
A new situation is emerging in the South Caucasus, and the countries in the region must not miss this opportunity, according to Ilham Aliyev. The President of Azerbaijan stated this during a press briefing alongside Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili.
Aliyev noted that throughout various parts of the world, violations of peace, security, and stability continue today, resulting in violent clashes, wars, human suffering, and losses. He indicated that such conditions had previously existed in the South Caucasus.
With his assessment, Aliyev pointed out that the situation in the region is changing, and the South Caucasus is gradually becoming a center of peace, tranquility, security, and cooperation. He emphasized that the current conditions open new opportunities for regional countries.
This statement was made against the backdrop of joint communications with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili. Aliyev's remarks were disseminated by the Azertaj state news agency.
