Iran Promises It Will Not Remain Silent on Supreme Leader's Death
The death of Iran's Supreme Leader will not go unanswered, stated a declaration from the Islamic Republic's presidential office.
"This grave crime will never go unanswered... We will make those who organized and carried out this crime regret it," the official statement published on Iran's presidential Telegram channel reads.
It is noted that the U.S. and Israel have carried out a series of strikes against Iranian targets, including in Tehran, resulting in damages and civilian casualties. In response, Iran launched missile strikes on Israeli territory as well as on U.S. military facilities in the Middle East.
