Roads Closed and Impassable in Armenia
The Emergency Situations Service reports that there are closed and impassable roads within the territory of Armenia.
The roads leading from the "Amberd" high mountain meteorological station to Amberd Fortress and Kari Lake in the Aragatsotn region are closed. The Vardenyats Pass and the Gyumri-Bavra highway are also closed for all types of vehicles.
In addition, the highways in the Lori and Syunik regions, as well as the Vedi-Lanjarr highway, the Dilijan and Tigranashen loops, the section from Karbi village to Spitak loops, and the section known as Saravan-"Zanger" are closed for vehicles with trailers.
Drivers are urged to travel exclusively with winter tires.
Regarding the Lars road, according to information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is closed for all types of vehicles.
