Iran Rejects US Proposals, Military Aircraft Sent to the Region
The latest round of negotiations regarding Iran's nuclear program in Geneva has concluded without results. The parties continue to have disagreements on key issues, reports The Wall Street Journal.
According to the newspaper, Iran has rejected Washington's demands, including the proposal to transfer enriched uranium stockpiles to a third country, as well as the option to halt the enrichment process and dismantle nuclear facilities. Furthermore, Tehran has opposed the imposition of indefinite restrictions on the development of its nuclear program.
At the same time, the US has intensified pressure by sending additional military aircraft and ships to the region. It is noteworthy that the US has imposed conditions against Iran.
