Improved Water Supply Schedule to be Established: Avinyan

The Mayor of Yerevan, Tigran Avinyan, wrote on Facebook: "Dear Yerevan residents, as a result of government intervention, there will be no change to the water supply schedule. During a consultation held today with the participation of interested entities, a decision was made to suspend the operation of the schedule published by Veolia Jur company.

In the coming two weeks, additional studies will be conducted by the Water Committee, the Public Services Regulatory Commission, and the Veolia Jur company, following which an improved water supply schedule for 2024 and 2025 will be published. This claim is supported by the capital works that have tripled in volume over the past few years in Yerevan and the regions.

Work continues on modernizing existing infrastructure, as well as increasing water volumes supplied to Yerevan through newly discovered water sources," stated Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan.
