Zakharova Comments on Incident with Monkey at Japanese Zoo
People around the world are sympathizing with a monkey named Pancho at a Japanese zoo, who was abandoned by its mother, while ignoring the suffering of children affected by actions in Kyiv, stated Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
"How can it be that in 2026 the entire planet comes together as one over the story of a monkey, which has food and caregivers... And these same people cannot see or live with the pain of hundreds of children, which become thousands, who die not due to circumstances of life but because of a monstrous, human-made history," said Zakharova.
