Patient Attacks Doctor in Yerevan, Media Reports
On February 21, another incident occurred in Yerevan. Around 23:55, the Central Division of the Community Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia received operational information that a patient had attacked ambulance doctors at 7 Grigor Lusavorich Street and was attempting to harm them. This was reported by shamshyan.com.
At the scene, a 25-year-old ambulance doctor, Shahen M., informed the police that while transporting the patient in the ambulance, the latter had hit him in the chest and then pushed him, throwing him to the floor of the vehicle.
With reasonable grounds to suspect, the police arrested the suspect, 33-year-old Hovhannes J., and transferred him to the Central Division of the Police.
Documents regarding the incident have been prepared at the Central Division of Police and forwarded to the Investigative Division of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia for the Central and Norq Marash administrative districts.
