Details from the Meeting of Civil Society Representatives of Armenia and Azerbaijan
The issue of the occupied territories of Armenia has, of course, been raised, and there is a mutual understanding that it should be resolved within the framework of the delimitation process. This was stated by Narek Minasyan, a member of the "Bridge of Peace" initiative, during a press conference addressing the discussions held at the meeting of civil society representatives of Armenia and Azerbaijan.
"Moreover, a meeting of the delimitation commissions of the two countries is also planned in the near future. Considering that the previous meeting took place in the territory of Azerbaijan, it is highly likely that this time it will be held in the territory of Armenia," he said.
It should be noted that on February 13-14, 2026, a bilateral round table is organized in Armenia within the framework of the "Bridge of Peace" initiative, where representatives of the civil societies of Armenia and Azerbaijan met. The Azerbaijani delegation arrived in Armenia through the already demarcated and defined portion of the land border, having undergone all necessary procedures.
