Rainfall to Resume: Thunderstorms and Hail Expected

From August 28 to 31, as well as during the night and afternoon of September 1, short-term rain and thunderstorms are expected in most regions of the Republic. There may be heavy rainfall in some areas during August 28-31, with a possibility of hail.

The wind will be southeast and eastern at 4-7 m/s, with gusts expected to reach 20-25 m/s during thunderstorms. Daytime temperatures are predicted to gradually decrease by 7-9 degrees from August 28 to 31.

In Yerevan, after midday on August 28, brief rain and thunderstorms are anticipated on August 29-31 and during the night and midday of September 1. Wind gusts of 18-23 m/s are expected during thunderstorms and in the evening hours.
