Snow and Blizzard: Situation on Roads in Armenia

As of February 7 at 17:00, all inter-state and republican roads in Armenia are open. The responsible organizations for road services continue their work on clearing and treating the roads with salt and sand.

The Vardenyats Pass and the Noravan-Ltsen-Tatev road are difficult to pass for vehicles with trailers, requiring the use of snow chains. Snowfall is reported in the regions of Abovyan, Nairi, Hrazdan, Sevan, Martuni, Aparan, Ashotq, and Vayk. Blizzards are observed on the roads in the Aparan and Aragats regions.
