Wind Intensification Expected: Weather Forecast
On February 5, during the daytime, the weather in the Republic of Armenia is expected to be dry. From February 7 to 9, precipitation is anticipated in several regions, with mixed rain and snow forecasted in pre-mountain and valley areas, while mountainous areas are expected to see snow. Additionally, some mountainous regions may experience blizzard conditions and low horizontal visibility. This information comes from the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center.
It is noted that from February 5 to 9, there will also be an intensification of winds in some areas, reaching speeds of 13-16 m/s. The air temperature dropped by 5-7 degrees overnight from February 5, while between February 6 and 9, it will gradually rise by 6-8 degrees.
In Yerevan, no precipitation is expected on February 5-6. However, from February 7 to 9, rain and mixed rain and snow are anticipated during the night and morning hours. On the afternoon of February 5, temperatures in the capital will range from 3 to 5 degrees, while evening temperatures will drop to around 0 to -2 degrees.
