Snow-Rain Mix Expected, Temperatures to Decrease: Weather Forecast
On February 4, 7, and the night of 8, some regions of the Republic of Armenia are expected to experience precipitation. In pre-mountain and valley areas, this will manifest as a mix of snow and rain, while mountainous regions are expected to see snowfall. In some mountainous areas, there may also be blizzards and low horizontal visibility. According to the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center, from February 5 to 6, and during the day of the 8th, dry weather is anticipated.
From February 4 to 8, specific areas will also see an increase in wind strength, with speeds of 13-16 m/s. The air temperature is expected to gradually decrease by 5-7 degrees on February 4 and 5, and then rise again by the same amount on the 6th and 8th.
In Yerevan, precipitation in the form of rain and snow-rain mix is anticipated on February 4, as well as on the night of the 7th and during the morning hours. Dry weather is expected on February 5, 6, during the day of the 7th, and on the 8th. In the capital, daytime temperatures on February 4 will range from 3 to 5 degrees, while evening temperatures will register between -1 and +1 degrees.
