Positive Indicators Recorded as a Result of the Digitalization of the Mediation Institute: Galyan
Positive indicators have been recorded in Armenia as a result of the digitalization of the Mediation Institute. This was stated by Justice Minister Surbhi Galyan during a press conference.
According to the minister, the mandatory mediation system operating in some family matters has an appropriate digital platform, through which the entire mediation process can be conducted.
"In our country, there is a mandatory mediation system for certain family matters, and there is a corresponding digital platform through which the mediation process can occur," Galyan noted.
She further informed that currently about 30% of the applications directed towards mediation are concluded with a settlement agreement.
"This means that in about 30% of the cases, the matters do not reach the courts, which alleviates the additional burden on the courts and allows them to focus on other cases," emphasized the minister.
