It Will Get Much Worse: Serzh Sargsyan Makes Statement
"Expect much worse, not only for me but for everyone," stated Armenia's third president Serzh Sargsyan during a conversation with journalists outside the court, addressing the criminal case brought against him and the ongoing proceedings. "When the prosecutor considers himself part of the authorities, what else can you expect? It will get much worse," Sargsyan remarked.
When asked about accusations during his presidency concerning judges receiving orders and the existence of political prisoners, Serzh Sargsyan responded, "I think you are trying to equate things, but you won't succeed because you cannot provide a single instance where I was accused of giving orders. That has never happened."
