Customs Duty Refund: 61 Electric Vehicles to Benefit from Tariff Privilege
The State Revenue Committee of Armenia has announced that under point 2.2 of the Government Decision No. 1876-N dated November 28, 2024, out of the 636 electric vehicles published on January 9, 2026, for which customs duty refunds have been requested, applications have been submitted for 575 vehicles, while no applications have been submitted for the remaining 61.
In light of this, according to point 2.4 of the same government decision, the Committee is publishing a list of the 61 vehicles in sequential order based on the chronological principle (starting from the 637th number) that their declarants have the right to benefit from the tariff privilege for the importation of electric vehicles classified under code 8703 80 000 2, through the modification of the customs declaration and/or customs entry orders.
Declarants of the listed vehicles must apply to the Customs Authority for the restoration of the tariff privilege (customs duty refund) by modifying the customs declaration or customs entry orders by March 31, 2026, inclusive, by submitting the following application to the email address [email protected].
At the same time, the Committee reminds that applications must be submitted by the entities that are the declarants, and the bank account number specified in the application must belong to the declarant entity. It is necessary to double-check and ensure that the information filled in the application is correct before submission.
