Precipitation Expected: Weather Forecast
Precipitation is expected in certain regions of the Republic of Armenia from February 2 to 4. In pre-mountain and valley areas, it will manifest as rain mixed with snow, while mountainous regions will see snowfall. Some mountainous areas may experience blizzards and low horizontal visibility. This information comes from the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center.
The wind will blow from the southwest at a speed of 3-6 m/s, with gusts expected in some areas from February 2 to 5, reaching speeds of 17-20 m/s.
During the night and morning of February 2-3, fog is anticipated in lower areas of the Shirak plain, in the foothills of Aragatsotn and Kotayk, and in the Ararat plain.
Daytime temperatures are expected to gradually rise by 2-4 degrees Celsius on February 2-3, and by 4-6 degrees Celsius in the Ararat plain and its foothills.
In Yerevan, precipitation in the form of snow and rain mixed with snow is expected from February 2 to 4. Fog is anticipated on the morning of February 2-3. Today in Mayarakayak, the temperature will range from 3-5 degrees Celsius during the day and drop to 2-4 degrees in the evening.
