Winter Draft Deadline Extended
The Armenian government has today decided to extend the deadline for the winter draft of 2025. According to the decision, the draft, which was initially scheduled to end by January 31, will continue until February 13, 2026, inclusive.
The justification for the decision notes the necessity of completing health examinations for citizens subject to the winter draft of 2025 and clarifying their draft status based on the results.
According to the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, this extension will prevent unnecessary deferments for citizens subject to the 2025 winter draft and cases where their medical examinations might be postponed to the 2026 summer draft.
