Due to Heavy Snow, 40 Candidates from Syunik Unable to Attend Exam
Today, due to adverse weather conditions and closed roads in the Syunik region, 40 candidates were unable to reach the examination center to participate in the Unified Armenian Language Exam.
The spokesperson for the Center for Educational Quality Assurance, Khachanuish Grigoryan, informed NEWS.am that only 118 out of 158 candidates in the region are currently taking the exam in Goris. The remaining 40 candidates are from the Sisian region and could not reach the location due to heavy snow.
“The Unified Armenian Language Exam started at 11:30 AM and will last for 3 hours. After the exam concludes, the Center will discuss options to provide additional opportunities for those who were absent,” the spokesperson noted. She emphasized that the decision will undoubtedly be made in the best interest of the candidates, as their absence was due to circumstances beyond their control.
