I Have No Idea What Is Required of Me: Tsarukyan on Fighting for the Championship Belt
Leading UFC lightweight fighter Arman Tsarukyan has admitted that he does not have a clear understanding of what conditions he must meet to have the opportunity to fight for the championship belt. This information is reported by armsport.am.
“I have no idea what is required of me. I would like to talk to Dana White to understand the expectations, as we have never discussed this. Dana said that the fight with Hooker would determine the main contender, but a week ago I heard that I was allegedly disqualified from the title fight due to a head strike. However, no one has officially confirmed to me that this was the reason,” Tsarukyan noted in an interview with Complex.
It is worth mentioning that Arman Tsarukyan's last fight took place in November 2025 during UFC Fight Night 265, where he achieved victory over Dan Hooker by submission in the second round. He currently holds a record of 23 wins and 3 losses.
