Ukraine Must Make Painful Concessions for Peace, Says Czech President
Ukraine must make "painful concessions" to achieve peace. This statement was made by Czech President Petr Pavel following a meeting with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky.
Pavel also emphasized the necessity of increasing pressure on Russia to finalize a peace agreement. During a joint press conference after the meeting with Zelensky, the Czech president indicated that the peace documents included several painful concessions that Ukraine "must" and is "willing" to make.
However, he did not specify what these concessions might entail.
