Austrian Airlines Suspends Flights to Iran
Austrian Airlines has decided to suspend flights to Iran until January 12, 2026, citing safety concerns, according to Austrian Wings magazine, referencing a spokesperson for the airline.
“The safety department of Austrian Airlines, in coordination with the Group Security Department, has advised as a precautionary measure to suspend flights to and from Tehran through January 12, 2026, based on the current assessment of the situation,” the spokesperson told the publication.
It is noted that a decision regarding the potential resumption of regular flights to Tehran after January 13 will be made later, following further assessment of the situation.
