Azerbaijan's National Team Withdraws from European Shooting Championship in Yerevan

The Azerbaijani national shooting team will not participate in the European Championship set to take place from February 27 to March 5 in Yerevan. This was announced by the head coach of the Azerbaijani team, Irada Ashumova.

According to her, the matter of participation was not even discussed. “During the 3rd CIS Games, security guarantees were provided to Armenian athletes by Azerbaijan. They did not come and did not compete here. Therefore, we have also decided not to participate in this European championship. We have not even approached state bodies on this issue,” Ashumova stated.
