Aleppo Airport Operations Suspended for 24 Hours
The Syrian aviation authorities have decided to suspend operations at Aleppo Airport for 24 hours amid tense clashes between the "Syrian Democratic Forces" and government-controlled forces, RIA Novosti reports.
In light of recent security developments in several districts of Aleppo, the General Department of Civil Aviation announced on social media that all flights to and from the airport would be halted for 24 hours for the safety of passengers and crew.
Earlier, SANA reported that the clashes between the Kurdish militias of the "Syrian Democratic Forces" and the forces under the control of Damascus had resulted in the deaths of four people, with 26 others injured.
