Erdogan Issues Call: The Most Severe Cases of Violence Recorded in Gaza
The international community must provide continuous and strong support for Gaza. This was stated by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the International Forum on Peace and Trust held in Ashgabat.
According to him, the most severe cases of mass violence have been recorded in Gaza in recent decades. Erdogan emphasized that maintaining a ceasefire and delivering humanitarian aid to the needy population are among Turkey's top priorities.
He highlighted that the ceasefire achieved in Gaza remains vulnerable, and therefore, the support from the international community must be stable and ongoing. He called on the residents of Palestine to participate in all phases of the peace process.
“The ultimate goal is a two-state solution. It is time for the international community to fulfill its obligations towards the Palestinian people,” the Turkish President noted.
