Nikol Pashinyan Decides to Address Air Pollution Issues
The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, has made a decision to establish an interagency working group aimed at addressing atmospheric air pollution issues.
The group will be led by Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan and will include Yerevan's Deputy Mayor Sargis Madatyan, Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan, Minister of Environment Hambardzum Matevosyan, Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan, Minister of Internal Affairs Arpine Sargsyan, and other officials.
According to the decision, the head of the working group is required to report to the Prime Minister of Armenia every 15 days and to conduct extensive public information and outreach efforts on a monthly basis.
