More than 60 New Traffic Signs to Appear on Russian Roads
Considering the frequent visits of Armenian citizens to the Russian Federation, we inform you that starting January 1, 2026, 60 new traffic signs will be introduced in Russia. These changes are expected to reduce the level of accidents on roads in populated areas.
For instance, the "Deaf Pedestrians" sign will be installed in areas where individuals with hearing impairments may be present on the roadway. It will be placed adjacent to specialized schools and hospitals and will be used in conjunction with the "Pedestrian Crossing" sign.
Seasonal Guidance: These signs, which indicate the operational time of other traffic signs, will clarify the periods during which the sign is in effect, informing drivers not only about hours or days of the week but also about months.
Parking Method: This sign will indicate the method of parking (for example, parallel parking at the curb).
We urge Armenian drivers to be attentive to traffic signs when traveling to Russia, as from January 1, 2026, there will be 60 new traffic signs in place.
