Platini Files Lawsuit Against Three Former FIFA Officials
Former UEFA president Michel Platini has filed a defamation lawsuit against three former FIFA officials, according to Le Parisien.
The 70-year-old sports executive submitted the lawsuit to a Paris court at the end of November, seeking damages.
Platini accuses the three former FIFA members of making public statements against him. The lawsuit also mentions the name of a fourth individual, a member of the Swiss court.
It is noted that the disputed statements were made in the form of interviews or press releases to the media.
