Drivers Fined: Driving Without Winter Tires Prohibited
The Ministry of Internal Affairs reports that from November 15 to date, 2,459 drivers have been fined for driving without winter tires.
It should be recalled that earlier the National Police of the Ministry issued a statement announcing that the operation of vehicles without proper winter tires would be prohibited.
Additionally, the National Police urges everyone to adhere to traffic safety rules, to acquire winter tires with the permissible tread depth, and to exhibit a conscious, law-abiding driving behavior.
The mandatory requirement to drive with winter tires is in effect until March 31 inclusive.
