No Discussions Between the US and Russia, Peskov Says
The press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, has stated that there are currently no discussions taking place between Moscow and the United States regarding the topic of Ukraine. This is reported by "RIA Novosti."
“Currently, consultations are not being held. There are, of course, contacts. But there is no process that can be called consultations,” said the Kremlin representative.
Peskov added that Moscow is prepared for a resolution, but it must address the fundamental causes of the conflict. He also did not rule out the possibility of a military tribunal (a judicial body handling cases related to military and serious civilian crimes) after the end of military operations in Ukraine.
