The World is Approaching a New Global Crisis, Says US Secretary of Defense
US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth has stated that the current international security situation resembles that of 1939 or 1981, emphasizing the growing dangers and threats. He noted that there is an increase in tensions and a buildup of conflicts around the world, which could lead to large-scale crises.
“Enemies are gathering, threats are increasing. Do you feel it? I feel it. If the United States wants to avoid war, we must begin to prepare right now. The best way to maintain peace is through strong defensive and diplomatic readiness,” said US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.
