Trump Continues to Show Interest in Ukraine Issues, Says Steve Witkoff

U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff has stated that President Donald Trump consistently shows interest in the situation surrounding Ukraine and the possibilities for peaceful resolution. According to him, Trump is informed about international processes and regularly engages in discussions with his advisors.

Witkoff recounted that during a briefing on the ceasefire agreement concerning Gaza, Trump immediately inquired about issues relating to Russia and Ukraine. 'He said, 'That's great. How are things going with Russia?' I believe that's the kind of person we need as Commander-in-Chief,' Witkoff noted while speaking at an American business forum.

The envoy added that Trump aims to find solutions to various international conflicts. 'He wants to sort everything out,' Witkoff stated, emphasizing Trump's proactive approach to foreign policy matters.
