Mother Questioned in Case of Missing Tigran
In the village of Ts'apatagh in the Gegharkunik region, police, rescuers, and residents continue to search for Tigran Ovanesov, born in 2022, who went missing near his home on October 27 at around 4:30 PM. The boy was last seen playing in the yard with his 5-year-old brother.
According to the Investigative Committee, a criminal case has been initiated regarding Tigran Ovanesov’s disappearance under part 2 of Article 155 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia (murder).
As reported by MediaHub, the child's mother is being questioned in connection with the case.
David Gzoghan, the administrative head of Ts'apatagh, stated that the search efforts have not ceased throughout the night: “We searched all night, and we are still searching. The boy was in the yard with his brother, but at this moment, there is no theory to consider,” he said.
Gegharkunik Governor Karen Sargsyan has stated that the family is considered vulnerable. He mentioned that the community has previously provided support to the family, and the governor's office is ready to provide necessary assistance upon request.
