Nikol Pashinyan Receives Winners of the "Neruzh" Program
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan today received the winners of the "Neruzh" Diaspora technology startup program for 2019. The program is designed for Armenian entrepreneurs abroad, providing them the opportunity to expand their activities in their homeland by localizing their startups and obtaining state funding. This was reported by the Prime Minister's Office.
Pashinyan congratulated the winners of the "Neruzh" program and emphasized the importance of this initiative aimed at attracting Diaspora Armenian specialists to the technology sector. He noted that the program aligns with the vision of the Armenian government regarding both the present and future of our country, as well as its relationships with the Diaspora; specifically, that Armenia should not only be a place of nostalgia but also a destination to visit, work, create, prosper, and enrich.
In this regard, Prime Minister Pashinyan highlighted the experience of the "Neruzh" winners in the technology sector and wished them success in their future activities in the homeland.
The winners of "Neruzh" expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister for his congratulations and presented their initiated startups, which they plan to localize in Armenia. The ideas that were recognized as winners in 2019 include the creation of electronic platforms aimed at improving and developing agriculture, waste management, sports, and service sectors.
