Clergyman of St. John Church in Byurakan Father Vrtanes Baghalyan Summoned for Questioning
On Sunday at 9:00 AM, Father Vrtanes Baghalyan, the clergyman of St. John Church in Byurakan, has been summoned for questioning. The Aragatsotn Diocese announced that the individual who summoned him and the other clergymen is either unaware that priests conduct divine liturgies on Sundays or is biased and undertaking illegal orders with the intention of disrupting the liturgies held in the diocese.
It is worth noting that earlier, Father Sarkis, who was supposed to perform the liturgy at Hovhannavank this Sunday, was also summoned for questioning.
