A 36,000 m² Complex to Be Built for Yerevan Municipality in the Incomplete Section of Cascade

The Mayor of Yerevan, Tigran Avinyan, announced on his social media page that discussions are underway regarding the reconstruction project of the unfinished section of the Cascade complex.

“After almost a year of discussions and persistent work, we have reached this important milestone. This was a process in which many were skeptical about its success, but we believed, worked hard, and today the question of implementing the Cascade project will be officially confirmed,” he wrote.

During a recent council session, the mayor stated, “Approximately a 36,000 m² complex will be built in the unfinished section of Cascade for the Yerevan Municipality, which will include a 1,000-seat event and music hall, a museum area, and public spaces,” said Mayor Tigran Avinyan.

He emphasized that the Municipality of Yerevan plans to allow the construction of a 125,000-135,000 m² complex for business purposes in the adjacent area. “We hope to have the final project of Cascade within 4-5 years,” he noted.
